You will contribute to the overall Khoros Analytics product strategy, prioritization and delivery of reporting tools shared across all Khoros Analytics users.    Within the Khoros Analytics team, you will be the domain expert for brand and customer care teams focused on enhancing the customer’s experience, particularly in a Digital Contact Center environment. Awareness of the big picture and how to contribute to it by sequencing delivery of new features and value. - Adept at figuring out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and laying your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative. - Ability to lead and deliver projects. You’ll help us build an industry-leading analytics platform in the social media space. We value teamwork, autonomy and delighting customers with excellent products, and would love to talk to you about it!   Some Responsibilities Include: - Building an industry-leading cloud-based platform with technologies like Java, MySQL, Kinesis, Docker, Kubernetes on AWS environment  - Leading execution of the product roadmap - Identifying, planning and delivering on a technical roadmap - Leading architectural design discussions within and across teams - Championing and upholding an exceptional engineering culture and practices - Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure rapid response to service disruption - Communicating with clarity, transparency and candor with stakeholders like Product Management and Engineering Leadership - Shaping agile processes to support great teamwork and delivery   Minimum Requirements - 10+ years building software using Java  - 7+ years of experience building cloud-based SaaS software with open-source server technologies - 7+ years of experience with relational (e.g., MySQL, Postgres) and nosql databases (e.g., Cassandra) - 2+ years of experience with event streaming and data processing technologies like Kafka or Spark - Substantial experience leading collaboration through git, pull requests and architectural design discussions - Track record of engineering mentorship and advocacy for sound engineering practices   Nice to Have - Experience with building high-volume and real-time streaming systems  - Experience with UI technologies like JavaScript, React and Redux - Basic understanding of the Social domain and its APIs     WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN OUR TEAM ? Khoros in Kansas City is looking to add a stellar Quality Engineer III to our already awesome engineering team. The software we build is a customer experience analytics platform which facilitates customers determining how best to serve their customers.   Some Responsibilities Include: - ​Being a vocal champion of quality within the organization to increase the speed and quality of key deliverables - ​Working with other engineers, as part of an Agile team, to make quality an integral part of the development process - ​Helping design and build a highly maintainable and efficient  unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests and frameworks - ​Strong focus on test automation for an interesting, event-driven application that consumes big data streams from social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram - ​Developing and growing a world-class test framework using a modern toolset  - ​Working with an awesome team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment   Minimum Requirements: - BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience - 4+ years of practical experience developing in a BDD/TDD environment and a strong QA automation background - Experience contributing to automation frameworks using object-oriented languages.
