As Sales Development Manager, you will be a key asset to our Sales organization as we look to grow Khoros globally. You’ll partner with multiple internal organizations (Sales, Marketing, Customer, etc.), and will be a crucial part of uncovering new opportunities, determining how to unlock new territories, and driving revenue into our pipeline. We view our SDRs as future Account Executives at Khoros. This is an exciting responsibility, and requires distinct dedication to the development of our SDRs. As a Sales Development Manager, you will hire outstanding talent, map out the gaps in that rep’s skillset, hold them accountable to reaching their potential, and take pride in promoting your team upwards/onwards. You will build trusted, lasting relationships with key decision makers through your in-depth understanding of how each of our customers use Khoros software to stay “all-ways connected” to their most important customers and prospects.    The ideal Senior Customer Account Executive has strong sales acumen, able to maintain command and control of a sophisticated sales cycle and accurately forecast incremental revenue back to the business. You will have deep business acumen, knowing how to confidently run a well-executed value pitch meeting for a group of C-suite executives, while articulating technical Khoros differentiators to a group of influential end users. You will also have customer experience acumen, able to inspire customers by providing consultative strategies to help some of the world’s most iconic enterprise brands to better engage with their customers.  The Khoros engagement platform comprises Online Community, Social Media Management and Messaging products for social customer service, social support and social media marketing teams to listen, respond and act on customer conversations – creating deep relationships and fostering brand loyalty and advocacy. #Li-remote #INDEED

This is an overlay sales role requiring the ability to work across departments and teams, articulate the value of consultative professional services, and an understanding of social business and marketing strategy. Approximately 50% of your time will be customer-facing so strong presentation and communication skills as well as a deep background in one or more sales methodologies are vital to success.
