Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions
- Pass journal entries accurately and timely, ensuring compliance withaccounting standards
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthly closing procedures
- Assist in Statutory and other tax-related compliance requirements
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll and related tax filings.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, MBA, CA Inter or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in a Mid-Sized CA Firm or a IT/ITES Company is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Director, Professional Services (India - Hybrid)

The Khoros engagement platform comprises Online Community, Social Media Management and Messaging products for social customer service, social support and social media marketing teams to listen, respond and act on customer conversations – creating deep relationships and fostering brand loyalty and advocacy.
This role will be responsible for driving a combination of strategy and tactical execution for our India based professional services team. The individual will live day-to-day across all of the PS roles; even if roles do not directly report into the Director, they will be responsible for ongoing quality and human capital management.
An ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional services in a highly technical consulting environment. Improving process and efficiency in a global technical environment is critical. The ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders, proactively manage risk, and facilitating high performing teams are also essential in this role. Ideally, this candidate will also have experience supporting and working with 3rd party partners.
The core team that will report directly to this individual is comprised of a professional services engineering group including Developers and QA. Our India based team currently comprises of 7 team members (5 of which would be directly in your reporting chain) and we are opening another 10-30 roles over the next 6 months with the majority being in your direct reporting chain.
Core hours will be standard India time, however you will need to be flexible and work on both US and EMEA timezones when necessary. For the first 3-6 months, this will be a very regular thing (multiple times per week) to be able to meet with leadership in the US between the hours of 6:30 PM IST and 10:30 PM IST.
Day in the Life
On a very regular basis, you will:
- Support project delivery, aligned to utilization target and working with global project managers or technical consultants
- Be the people & performance leader of a group of Professional Services team members including:
- The development, growth and day to day leadership of your direct team
- Oversee delivery on multiple practice areas to ensure process consistency and pivot as necessary, in partnership with your peers
- Hire and train new staff
- Support, coach and conduct of existing staff evaluations
- Set individual and team goals
- Proactively coach & manage your team against OKRs
- Occassionally serve as main of point contact for high priority escalations
- Empower your team to be delivering an exceptional customer experience & adhering to methodologies
- Be accountable in driving and/or supporting change/initiatives/improvements

Requirements:

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Engage in defining the vision and roadmap for the product / modules being managed and also

ROLE
We are looking to add a Technical Support Engineer to the Khoros Product Support Team. You’ll be responsible for providing technical support to our customers for Khoros Product and handle Severity 1 Issues (a.k.a. Outages). You would need to understand our products from a functional and technical standpoint and be able to respond to customer queries, issues reported via our ticketing system on a 24X7 basis. The team sets high standards for the work they do while also maintaining a learning-oriented work environment. You’ll be challenged to scale up quickly and learn many new technologies. This is a customer-facing role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO?
- Work on Severity 1 issues on Khoros Product for different customers.
- Respond to the customers within defined SLAs and committed timelines.
- Escalate problems to the correct teams where appropriate.
- Resolving simple requests without needing to escalate.
- File Production Deployment Requests on behalf of our customers.
- Identifying documentation requirements in our knowledge base.
- Maintaining our high standards for customer communication and response times.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
- 3-4 years of experience in technical support roles, ideally supporting web applications or products.
- 3+ years of experience in customer and/or technical support roles, ideally analyzing and supporting web applications

- Middleware Infrastructure:
- Able to understand and troubleshoot Apache/Nginx-related issues
- Should have a good understanding of application server like Tomcat, Weblogic
- Should have a good understanding of monitoring, health check of environments, and able to check the web/app layer logs to identify the issue.
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud concepts like EC2, scaling ..etc
