The mission of an Operations Engineer is to learn, maintain, troubleshoot, and evolve our Cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate is somebody with several years of experience operating and building modern cloud architectures and infrastructures.  Additionally, they bring operational experience with datastores such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka and MySQL.  They also understand the importance of continuous observation and monitoring of the entire platform and being the place where problems are solved, not passed off. ABOUT KHOROS    At Khoros, a Customer Assurance and Audit Information Security Engineer II is a  specialist in information security who will not only respond to our customers but also improve the day to day operations of our Compliance and Audit team.  Through hands-on experience with our technology, customer responses and audits, you will develop and improve our processes.  In addition, this role will participate in 3rd party validation of our security program and assist with the regular responsibilities of those control frameworks.  This role is based in Bangalore India and reports to the Sr. Manager of Compliance and Audit.   WHAT YOU WILL DO ? - Maintain a deep understanding of the Khoros platform, service components and platform infrastructure. - Respond to customer security questions and assessments. - Develop and maintain standard responses and a response library to help sales and other stakeholders support customers directly. - Develop customer assurance automation to simplify the process of responding to questionnaires and assessments. - Recommend and implement process improvements to deliver on timely customer responses and audits. - Educate sales teams and other stakeholders on information security features of the Khoros platform in order to improve the turn around and quality of customer responses. - Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI DSS through monitoring controls, audit evidence collection and audit response. - Perform access reviews and other internal audit functions as needed. - Maintain up to date process documentation and create new documentation as needed. - Stay current with both security and privacy regulations in order to deliver accurate information about Khoros platform compliance. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ? - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent professional experience - 2+ years experience in Information security, some of which focused on customer assurance or vendor risk. - Experience with response management tooling like RFPIO. - Broad knowledge of IT Security controls and the ability to effectively map them to product features and capabilities. - Familiarity with secure software development, the OWASP top 10 and SANS top 25 - Understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. - A highly collaborative mindset with a strong desire to work closely with the sales, product and technical operations teams. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - A desire to constantly improve the Khoros security posture, pragmatically. Our product teams are cross-functional and durable, generally comprised of a product manager, a product designer, and several engineers. We look for product managers that understand that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the product team contributing their passion and their ideas. The product manager must collaborate closely with her product designer and engineers to discover effective solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions to market. WHAT YOU’LL DO   Engage in defining the vision and roadmap for the product / modules being managed and also work with the engineering teams to define the release planning • Consult with internal and external customers and partners to identify business needs and define an MVP for the product features and user stories that teams can then work on • Manage the Product Backlog and work with the stakeholders to (customers, engineers, sales teams etc.) to shape the backlog thus maximising the value delivered • Work closely with the engineering teams during sprint planning to help derive the needed priorities across features, customers issues and escalations • Work with the senior leaders in the engineering team to shape the technical roadmap for the product / modules managed • Participate in all the scrum ceremonies (planning, execution and retrospective) to help teams understand the customer value being delivered and the execution cadence needed • Define, measure and improve adoption rates for the features delivered and work appropriately with the marketing teams to drive the needed intervention to improve adoption • Follow through all the steps of the Khoros Solution Lifecyle (SLC) diligently and work with the program team to keep all stakeholders appraised of delivery status • Effectively present product ideas, strategies and designs to appropriate stakeholders • Contribute to documentation for release notes, training manuals, and other departmental administration • Participate in scrum demos and demonstration of the solution for customers and other internal stakeholders – thereby driving organization readiness WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and agile product delivery. • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business - engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing. • Team player with track record of building strong, cross functional working relationships across departments and individuals and focused on team performance, rather than individual success • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative. • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship. • Proven ability to partner with developers to deliver high-quality releases to the market in a timely fashion • 2-3 years as a product manager delivering technology-powered products. • Preferred, but not required: experience with research and insights platforms, specific experience with social media applications, experience with any AI / ML techniques, and SaaS experience. • Technical aptitude and exposure with modern mobile web application design, architecture, distributed systems with massive scale & data volumes • Passion for the customer value / satisfaction and exceptional user experience with a desire to track, measure and improve upon these areas • Experience working with social media, including social media management systems, social marketing programs would be a plus • B.E/B.Tech or higher, preferably in a design and/or technical discipline or with extensive exposure to technical curricula.
