You will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple SaaS applications in the social media space. You will work in small, cross-functional teams and love delivering value to our customers through shipping code. We deploy as often as we can and would love you to deploy to production beginning day one.   WHAT YOU’LL DO ? - Implement requirements as provided by product managers. You will interact with the design team to build an understanding of what is needed and create the same - Use (and re-use) pattern libraries to create engaging user interfaces that are accessible and follow the needed standards - You will also interact with other developers  - This is a fairly technical position that involves a lot of coding. Overview: Khoros is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to apply their analytical skills and turn data into visibility that enables action! This position of Data Requirements Analyst will develop metrics for the many operational initiatives in Khoros’ Customer Organization. The role is within the Data and Renewals Team which manages data for the Customer Org. encompassing Support, Customer Success, Professional Services, Customer Experience, and anything else that will keep Khoros’ Social Media Management customers successful.  Central to this role are the concepts of baselining and iterative improvement, and their measurement. For each project, this role will a) gather requirements to measure our baseline performance (and create associated reporting); b) gather requirements to measure the execution of the project (and create reporting); and c) continue measurement of performance to maintain and adjust reports in collaboration with stakeholders The Role:  We’re looking for someone who is data-driven and enjoys rolling up their sleeves. We have access to lots of data and data sources. In this role, you’ll be collaborating with Data Engineers and Senior Analysts to find the best data, help build the data flows to create dynamic reporting, and ultimately create reports that make a difference to our partners.  Teams you’ll be supporting include: - Support - we have over 70 Support Agents resolving our customers’ technical issues for multiple distinct Product Solutions. Most are stationed in Austin, TX, USA, and Bengaluru, India offices, and others work remotely. - Customer Success - we have over 40 Customer Success Managers working with assigned accounts. Their goal is to help customers succeed, and it’s important to understand both our CSM’s actions, and our customers’ measurable performance. - Professional Services - we need to measure the impact of everything we provide for our customers, including implementation, onboarding and enablement, customization, and  personalized coaching. - Customer Experience - we regularly survey our customers (“Voice of Customer”), and we’re developing an innovative program to track and measure our customer touchpoints, including the way they use our software. This role will work with Business Systems / IT to get access to our state-of-the-art enterprise data sources (Salesforce, FinancialForce, Gainsight, Khoros Community, Workday) and build dynamic reports using our Data Visualization software (currently Domo, but users of Tableau, PowerBI, or any other comparable tool are welcome. Responsibilities - Primary responsibility (50% of role) :Work closely with our internal Services Delivery team to understand the strategy of each initiative, and build measurement into the project plan from the beginning. - (25% of role) Develop reports to understand team performance, and use the findings to continuously improve.  - Perform quality assurance of operational metrics. - Utilize industry standard tools (Salesforce, Domo, Gainsight, Jira) to achieve all of this.       Minimum Qualifications   - Experience using enterprise-wide customer engagement / support software systems. (Salesforce Service Cloud, Tableau, Domo, SAP, etc.)  - 2+ years experience working in a customer-focused organization (Support, Success, Services, etc.)  - Experience finding efficiency gains by identifying trends, and partnering with process owners.  - Problem-solving and critical thinking. - Strong communications skills in speaking and writing with clarity and authenticity. - Proficient in use of office software including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Presentation software. - Experience using graphs and charts from structured and unstructured data sets to make presentations and proposals. - Experience working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity.     Preferred Qualifications   - Experience using Tableau, or a comparable Data Visualization Tool - Strength in process definition, and/or data definition. - Experience managing multiple concurrent projects. - Experience working directly with stakeholders in North America and/or Europe. - Experience measuring and reporting on the outcomes and outputs of process improvement initiatives. We’re looking for someone with experience organizing large amounts of data into usable data sets for effective reporting. Our customer data includes data sets from multiple customer touchpoints, ranging from freeform survey responses to recorded events through product usage. Thus, the need for strong data extraction, loading, and cleansing. It needs to be organized into data structures built around Account and Contact records from our CRM system (Salesforce).  This role will also link customer data to contract renewals to identify patterns and pursue opportunities. This is a challenging role with high expectations. WHAT YOU'LL DO ? - Reporting how the activities of teams in our Customer Organization (Support, Customer Success, Professional Services, Coaching) are being performed at an operational level. - Tracking how teams’ performance impacts contract renewal rate. - Most challenging of all - utilizing customer data to improve projects that impact key metrics, such as customer engagement, customer satisfaction, and understanding customer health.  Khoros, (and especially this team) is definitely data-driven. Once you’re established in this role, we expect you to assist in decisions regarding our long-term Enterprise Data strategy.  It is essential that you’re fluent and comfortable working with large sets of enterprise data from multiple sources. You must have experience managing data tools in whatever environments you’ve encountered in the past. SQL skills are essential, and having experience administering enterprise tools is important (for example, Oracle, Domo, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, SAS, Salesforce). It is important that you have experience working intimately with enterprise data reporting and visualization tools, as well as CRM systems.   Examples of typical projects: - Resolving historical contract renewal opportunities in Salesforce by account to forecast the impact of contract consolidations and extensions. - Tracking customer comments and suggestions derived from multiple sources (Survey responses from Gainsight, Khoros Community Idea Boards, and more) using labels to group like suggestions.
