The Khoros IT team provides internal systems management and end-user desktop support for a global employee base of approximately 1300 in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment. You will work with other team members to develop our enterprise systems, test and implement new technologies, and provide world-class support for our end users, including a highly technical group of Engineers and Developers. Within the Bangalore office, you will be responsible for supporting the technical design, planning, and implementation of the highest performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission-critical enterprise systems. Serve as a technical expert in system administration for complex operating systems.  Recommend the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigate and analyze the feasibility of system requirements and develop system specifications. Identify methods, solutions, and provide project leadership and management to provide a high level of service to the Khoros employees.

You will work closely with the Digital Customer and Content Experience leadership team to create great content experiences for our customers that drive easy feature adoption and ongoing usage.  WHAT YOU’LL DO ? - Coordinate documentation planning with product teams and create documentation release plans for new software features that address real-world customer personas and use cases.  - Participate as an individual contributor, as needed, based on team bandwidth and shifting priorities.  - Scope, plan, and communicate estimates for incoming requests and competing demands.  - Define and report on engagement and quality metrics for product content. - Participate in our customer community to help build tribal knowledge, identify and cultivate best practices, and generally help deliver a superior social customer experience.  - Monitor and improve search relevancy of Help Center knowledgebase, adhering to taxonomy best practices and creating new content or content requests as needed.  - Mentor writers.  - Provide recommendations on the best content types and approaches in support of varying customer and market needs.  - Contribute to definition, and execution, of cross-company content strategy. You’ll be responsible for providing technical support to our customers for Khoros Product and handle Severity 1 Issues (a.k.a. Outages). You would need to understand our products from a functional and technical standpoint and be able to respond to customer queries, issues reported via our ticketing system on a 24X7 basis. The team sets high standards for the work they do while also maintaining a learning-oriented work environment. You’ll be challenged to scale up quickly and learn many new technologies. This is a customer facing role. - Work on Severity 2/3 issues on Community Product for different customers. - Respond to customers within defined SLAs and committed timelines. - Escalate problems to the correct teams where appropriate. - Resolving simple to complex requests without needing to escalate. - File production deployment requests on behalf of our customers. - Identifying documentation requirements in our knowledge base. - Maintaining our high standards for customer communication and response times. - Engaging in training opportunities on our products and key technical areas. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ?   - 3-5 years of experience in technical support roles, ideally supporting web applications or products. - Demonstrable interest in software and technology. - Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical issues. - Excellent written and spoken communication skills. - Able to communicate effectively between teams and individuals of varying technical expertise. - Familiar with checking logs, APIs, HTML and CSS - Able to multitask effectively while working on customer issues. - Ability to help and guide junior colleagues with cases as and when required. You will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple SaaS applications in the social media space. You will work in small, cross-functional teams and love delivering value to our customers through shipping code. We deploy as often as we can and would love you to deploy to production beginning day one. WHAT YOU’LL DO ? ● Develop and unit test high quality code to implement features ● Perform code reviews and improve code quality by applying solid design principles ● Exhibit end-to-end ownership of a feature/task/bug ● Collaborate with team making sure deliverables are delivered on time with high quality. ● Suggest design/code changes to improve Product Features.   WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ? ● A Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent degree ● Experienced in building enterprise grade products for minimum of 7 years, that are built on microservices and are highly scalable ● Well versed with the server-side programming with minimum of 6 years of experience in Java ● Well versed with AWS Services (Dynamo DB, ECS, SQS and Kinesis) with a minimum of 2 years experience.
